Isn't this such a cute kit and clever idea! Perfect Pairs: PB&J, two peas in a pod, cookies and milk etc. I knew right away which pictures I wanted to use in my layout. My two daughters, who are 4 years apart, looked like twins when they were babies. Of course they still look like obvious sisters but have also developed more uniqueness. But sometimes I have to think, which one is which when looking at their baby pictures! Guess I best be getting them tagged soon so I don't forget!

I have been toying with the idea of joining a CT for a designer for awhile now. So when I saw BoomersGirl Designs having a call, I jumped. And she accepted me! So here is the first layout and kit that I worked with. Her cute kits are just my style as I have cute kids as the stars of all my layouts.

I am excited to get to work with more of her kits as she releases them.

SNP May Blog Train Freebie!

Here is my May blog train freebie for Scraps N Pieces. The train is now non-theme so we get to choose our own. When I saw the color palette I knew exactly what I wanted to do. So I give you, Raindrops Keep Falling. This was so fun to make! Everything on the preview is shown as actual size EXCEPT the cloud and rain drops (acrylic and blue under acrylic). They were too big so I had to make them smaller to fit.

I also figured out the issue with google docs not offering it in a folder download right on the link page. The minimum size for that appears to be 25 MB from some experimenting that I did. This was just over 20 MB and I made the maximum we can per the blog train rules. So I added a full size version of the preview which put it just over 25 MB! You can always delete it and just keep the 600 Pixel version if you are worried about space. But now you don't have to follow the steps to get the folder download.

UPDATED WITH NEW LINKS - SNP April Blog Train Freebie!

This month for the April Blog Train I have an acrylic alpha for you. BUT, I also included the template used to make the alpha, which will although you to clip papers or color fill layer to create color or pattern acrylic alphas. Instructions are included for PSE.
The blog freebie contains the lowercase alpha, numbers and some punctuation. The Facebook Freebie has the uppercase alpha. If you don't use facebook you can use the contact me form to send me an email address where I can send you the download link. Make sure you list which FB Freebie you would like. Also once the blog train is over, 30 days later, the FB freebies are moved to the "Past Freebies" tab. This is also my first time not using google docs (it wouldn't upload the zip correctly, it wanted you to download individual files) so let me know if box.net isn't working right!

NEW BOX LINKS! I hadn't realized I met my monthly bandwidth with one blog train! So I made some new links. Sigh, never had this problem with google docs BUT they suddenly wouldn't treat my zip file like a folder, rather displayed every file and with an alpha, there's a LOT of files. Hopefully I can figure it out again for next month!

Designer Website

After a couple months of posting my design freebies on my Digi Scrap Freebie Finder blog I finally took the time to set-up a design website so the two are seperate. I just had time for the background but in the coming the rest will get set-up and going to. I used my kit from Pixel Scrapper's April Blog Train, Earth Day for my blog design. Here is my preview which you can get here tomorrow!

I will also have a freebie over on the Digi Scrap Freebie Finder site (I had to submit the webpage before this one was up and going). So check there tomorrow. It is an annual train called Hope For Brady.  Here's the preview and it will also be available tomorrow!
